             Anny Jacoby, Owner/President, is a survivor of domestic violence.  She advocates that every female has the absolute right to protect and defend herself.  It is important that every female has access to readily available, practical self-defense training.  One’s age does not matter, assaults and abductions have no limitations.

             For many years after her assault, Anny volunteered counseling domestic violence and rape victims prior to moving to North Carolina.  She has experienced and seen first-hand the effects of assaults.  “If only they had known how to defend themselves or were taught awareness.”  As a result of her personal experience and advocacy she decided to teach, educate and train females how to protect themselves at all times; mentally and physically. 

             Anny is an active member of the North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence, North Carolina Coalition Against Sexual Assault, AWSDA (American Women’s Self Defense Association) and served on the Board of Directors of Family Violence Prevention Center of Orange County, NC. 

             Anny organized her church family’s crisis hot line and participates in focus groups with the University of North Carolina concentrating on needs assessment, proactive research and preventative measures, options and training. 

             The Realistic Female Self-Defense Company offers a variety of lectures, seminars, presentations and/or demonstrations on awareness and proactive options; and “realistic un-armed self-defense”™ training.  Anny, a Certified PDR (Personal Defense Readiness) Instructor and a team of male Certified PDR instructors/coaches with The Realistic Female Self-Defense Company are dedicated to teaching/training only females.

             PDR instructors/coaches are certified through Blauer Tactical Systems, Inc..
